Velida is my good friend and the only other woman at the fire department. The bathrooms were NASTY because it had just been men at the station for so long. Velida had the week off so we decided to paint and fix up the bathrooms before our CPR training that weekend. We painted the bathrooms and also hung pictures and curtains so they look very pretty now.

There is usually nothing worse than bathrooms only used by men. LOL
Hah, you go girls! After all that hard work at a the fire dept. you deserve a nice bathroom to use! And you know, the guys will like it too, even if they don't want to admit it...*wink*
Couldn't you have put up 'fire truck' curtains or something. Poor guys, they are being emasculated even in a very masculine environment. Too funny!
I think this is the first time I've ever heard of a firestation being called pretty! As long as it smells good too.
