I found it amusing that my in laws had to go to a special school, take a test, pay money, and then wait for their gun permits to come in the mail. Jeff and I recently got our gun permits and all we had to do was walk in the local sheriff’s office and show them our driver’s license. In less than 10 minutes we walked out with our gun permits! The last picture shows you my new hand gun that I carry in my purse. The other one is our new “toy”. I need to take some pictures of me playing with my compound bow. As I am typing this, I am wearing my camouflage pajamas. Can you say Red Neck? LOL

So I dont think those first pictures qualify as a hand gun. I still think it's crazy that you just have to walk in. I actually had fun taking the class and showing up those boys!! I like the fact that I know I can aim before I go out an buy my gun (which really will someday happen). I'm thinking of designing my own guy. So now I need to learn how they work and how to draw....hmm..ok maybe not! I'll just keep working and saving my money.
It looks like Nikki had a freudian slip, she said she is going to design her own 'GUY'! Nice one Nikki, let us all know how that works out for ya. LOL
On another note, pertaining to your post and the pics...the 1st couple of pictures look 'kind of' red neck, however, are you wearing makeup? The last one you're so dolled up, it's hard to think of you as a red neck, even though you're packing.
I want a permit and gun really bad, I have my eye on this cute hand gun that fits in the palm of my hand that has a pearl handle. I am too paranoid that if I go to the sheriff's office and tell them I want a permit, they will think I'm up to no good and start stalking me or something. I have NO idea where my paranoia comes from...It's illogical and drives me crazy ALL the time. I am a true nut-case!
Hah! Tabi packs some heat in her handbag as well... Justin got a new gun, and James spent a good bit of his tax return on his newest gun obsession, so I'd say there is something in the water in Bama at the moment! I'll have to make sure to drink bottled water when we come visit...*snort*

You know, I don't think we should even have to pay 20 dollars and show our drivers lisense (which we also paid 25 dollars for) to carry a gun. The people who want to do bad things with guns don't get permits. I've heard it said that criminals love gun control because it makes their job safer. Guns don't cause crime any more that pencils cause misspelled words. Oh well, we law abiding citizens will continue to abide by the law and obtain permits. I mind the laws even when they don't make sense because thats just the kind of person I am. I sure would not want to live in a society with no laws. By the way you look soooooo cute holding that gun!!
