Yum Yum

I am so happy with my new Blendtec blender. It makes awesome smoothies. For this one, I put in an orange, banana, grapes and half an orange bell pepper. I mix spinach in my fruit smoothies sometimes also and they taste wonderful. This blender is so powerful that it can even make bread. We can grind our own wheat berries and let the blender do the kneading for us. Yummy!

Has your juicer come in yet? I make my own wheat grass and juice it. I'll send you my favorite recipe. That is neat that you can make bread in a blender. Have you tried it yet? Let me know how it turns out.

Three cheers to more healthy living! I have a vita mixer that does all that but I don't use it at all for grinding or for bread. Maybe I should get it back out. hmmm. I have a k-tech grinder that works well. That is what I spent some time doing yesterday. When I finished I had about 15 lbs of red wheat, white wheat, millet, buckwheat, and oat flour. I even milled some corn meal from whole dried corn. Multi grain bread tastes great and is soooo good for you. I will share how to do it if you like! You can use your new machine for all the whole grains. I have a very fast and easy recipe for pancakes that goes from whole wheat berries etc. to pancake batter in 4 minutes. I am excited about your new blender!

The smoothies sound great, but I'm not sure about the spinach and bell pepper. If you ever make me one...better not tell me what all you put in it! LOL
